OVERTIME: [ ACROSS LITE][ PDF]
PROGRAMS: [Across Lite] [Adobe Reader]
I got so engrossed in the creation of this puzzle, that I didn’t even notice the totally bizarre black square layout in the middle of this grid. Each one stands alone and doesn’t touch another black square. Kind of reminds me of this striking grid by Patrick Merrell. There are a few differences though. Patrick took it all the way, whereas I didn’t. His was themeless, and this one is themed. Anyway, still pretty cool. Enjoy.
As announced, today’s the last day of the Summer Drive. Thanks to all who have contributed. This site is always going to be free, but I am humbled by the support. If for some reason you haven’t received the bonus puzzles yet, let me know. If you still want to chip in to get the bonus 21xs, you know the drill: PayPal, Venmo (@TheBEQ), or email me. One randomly selected donor will receive a book I wrote, or something I don’t want anymore. Thanks again.
UPDATE: Our randomly selected donor is Kelsey Freese of Parts Unknown! Congrats to Kelsey.
Share the puzzle. New one on Monday.
It’s confusing enough starting the week up again on Thursday without you saying the puzzle is a Themeless Monday.
Why do you hate America, Brendan?

Also, what’s the theme? What is Overtime?
Brilliant, brilliant! I’m just getting around to the last few weeks of your HARD puzzles. Love them. Your puzzles are great. The best they’ve ever been.
The answers you listed are incomplete, they go over the time related part of the answers.
Really liked the puzzle.
