Busy day for the Biz Quig. Crossword Con tomorrow and American Crossword Puzzle Tournament right after that. Oh, and Align starts a soft launch on Arkadium today, to be slowly rolled out internationally shortly thereafter. So, yeah, a busy couple of days. I guess I’ve been around this community long enough that I could grok it fairly early in the solve. Love it! Hope to attend ACPT for the first time when it moves to Philly next year.
A tad “inside baseball” even for someone whose been doing puzzles for nearly 50 years.

When i first got the theme entry at 23A, i thought for a sec they might all be related to Springsteen “Nebraska”

Ha! Good one. Fortunately I read the article by Quiara Vasquez earlier today about the “who’s who” of ACPT. This had to be a tough puzzle to construct. Oof!
Had to google a few answers, but still don’t get it. Can anyone explain?
