A couple years back, at an all-town chorus concert, one of the other schools in our neighborhood did this song. Blew my everloving mind. I mean, I like Yes, but then again, my parents’ first date was a Yes concert. So I kind of grew up with them. Still, getting 11 year-olds to sing this song was something. And it got me thinking, this song is like 55 years old, what would have been the equivalent of singing a 55 year-old song when I was that age, and I decided it was probably something like “Boogie Woogie Bugle Boy.” I couldn’t imagine anybody listening to that song back in the late ’80s, but I can imagine people still listening to Yes nowadays. Time, as they say is a flat circle.
Couple links for you: First up, a rather embarrassing article about yours truly ran on CNBC earlier this week. The best I can say about it is that Tabitha took a nice photo of me.
And a couple of you have been asking about how you can get your hands on the t-shirt I was wearing at the ACPT. Well, you’re in luck, and they’re back in stock. (Okay, there’s not a stock per se, but you can get your hands on one). Buy one for yourself, and another for the fan in your life.
